Our Story

Legally a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, ADOPT MORE was an idea that was born in 2008, worked to better identify itself in 2009 and sprouted in 2010. Fall 2010, founder and executive director Kimberly Wyman began paving the way for what ADOPT MORE has become – a nonprofit working to expand the reach of people who become involved with adoption now and for future generations.

The adoption community needs a larger group of people in its corner advocating for the millions of parentless children worldwide. 

ADOPT MORE is not an adoption agency. We increase positive awareness, debunk myths and share truths about adoption based on facts and real experiences. We enhance the general public's awareness level of different cultures, the orphan crisis and of the good adoption bestows in order to significantly decrease the number of orphans worldwide. 

We also share fresh ways of thinking about adoption and different ideas about how everyone can get involved.
